This page explains that Prime Power Fitness does not sell your personal information, how optional advertising cookies work on our website, and how you can withdraw your consent and exercise your rights under Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25). It supplements our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

1. We do not sell your personal information
Prime Power Fitness does not sell or rent personal information, and has not sold it, in exchange for money or other consideration. We disclose personal information only to the service providers we need to operate the website and fulfil orders (hosting and email by OVHcloud, payment by Stripe or, if you choose it, Affirm, and freight carriers for delivery), which act on our instructions.
2. Advertising cookies only with your consent
Advertising tools can be active on our website only if both of the following conditions are met:
- we have enabled them, namely the Meta Pixel or the TikTok Pixel; and
- you have accepted the "Targeting & advertising" cookie category.
In that case, these tools may collect online identifiers (such as cookie identifiers and IP address), browser and device information, and information about the pages you visit and the actions you take on our website, so that Meta or TikTok can measure our advertising and show you our ads on their platforms. If you do not accept this category, these tools remain off. Analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager) are also off until you accept the "Analytics & performance" category, and Google Consent Mode keeps Google tags in "denied" mode until you consent. Visitors in Québec are asked for their consent before any optional cookies are activated, and when we cannot determine a visitor's region, we apply the strictest rules.
The information you give us to order or request a quote (such as your name, address or phone number) is used for advertising only if you have accepted advertising cookies. In that case, the information described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy (Meta Conversions API) is sent to Meta, with your contact details in hashed form, to measure how well our advertising works.
3. How to withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time, in any of the following ways:
- Cookie preferences: click the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page and turn off the "Targeting & advertising" category (and, if you wish, the "Analytics & performance" category). Your choice takes effect immediately in that browser.
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we honour it automatically, and advertising technologies remain off for that browser. You do not need to do anything else.
- By email: write to contact@primepower-fitness.com with the subject "Privacy", or use our contact page. We will apply your request to the personal information we can link to you, such as your email address.
Cookie choices and GPC signals are stored in, or sent by, the browser you use. If you use several browsers or devices, or if you clear your cookies, you will need to set your choice again on each one.
4. Your rights under Canadian law
Under Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA and, for residents of Québec, Law 25, you may:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
- withdraw your consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
- ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, we must keep orders and invoices for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes);
- if you live in Québec, request portability of your information and ask us to stop disseminating it or to de-index any hyperlink attached to your name where the law allows.
To exercise these rights, email contact@primepower-fitness.com with the subject "Privacy". We respond within 30 days. We may ask you for information to verify your identity (such as your name, email address and an order or quote number) before acting on your request. Exercising your rights is free of charge, except where the law permits a reasonable fee for a manifestly excessive request, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (residents of Québec) or with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
